Fitzrovia office w1
Following a successful office in Soho, Various Artists Limited have expanded and commissioned Studio Segrue to return and design their new offices in Fitzrovia.
The brief being :
To emanate the feel of the D’Arblay Street office within this larger space
To create an inviting space where creatives will enjoy coming to write and work
ENTRANCE & RECEPTION
Window and door signage lead through into the Reception area. The coffee table allows display of work, ideas and magazines. Rich colours and tactile fabrics enhance comfort. Decorative vintage books and quirky objects dress the shelving.
Crittall style internal partitions transform the space, creating rooms/zones. Allowing light, the area feels inclusive but retains an element of separation.
A granite effect carpet, laid over an acoustic underlay, retains the industrial feel yet protects the offices from neighbouring noise.
PRODUCTION OFFICE
Stunning bespoke English Ash table for the production team - 5.2m long with outer ‘live’ edge and inner ‘cable management’ gap. Large bespoke carpentry for the production team’s paperwork. Industrial style lighting and desk lamps complete the feel.
BREAKOUT ROOM
Artificial plants soften and bring focus over the large sturdy table. Brass studs detail the red ‘leather’ and metal chairs, encompassing VAL’s logo.
MEETING ROOM 1
The bespoke upholstered chairs offer back support and comfort. Brass stud detailing resonates the company logo. A contemporary chandelier adds drama to the space with over sized vintage bulbs.
Shelving for the Bafta Award, styled with vintage books and objects of interest.
MEETING ROOM 2
The vertical bookcase is lit from behind to add lighting and drama into this inviting space.
MEETING ROOM 3
A more informal room was created with tactile fabrics, warm colours, ambient lighting and plants.
A spiral staircase leads up to the vaulted, first floor open plan office. Photos to follow.
